“How should I pose?”
“Do something with your hands.”
And just like that, I sketched Allie, looking like her usual pretty blonde self.
Allie’s a happy young woman. In all the times we’ve spent together, she’s rarely complained and the only times she did, they were legitimate complaints. She smiles by default. She’s got great energy and is such a joy to be around!
We’ve grown together, both me as an artist and her as a model. And if you think modeling is easy, you’re wrong. It’s hard work! When I say Allie’s grown – her expressions are getting better. Her poses are getting better. Everything’s getting better and we need less and less words to communicate. We’re almost getting to the point where we can read each other’s minds.
