A lot of you already know the story of Opium Tales. But if you don’t, it was a TV show. Never succeeded in getting funding so it was never made.
However, I still own Opium Tales. So I called my blog “Opium Tales.”
Well, now that I’m an artist, I might as well use it.
So I’ll discontinue this blog. The old pieces will still exist but you won’t be able to see them from the homepage.
Opium Tales will either be a graphic novel or a comic, depending on how much money I can raise.
I’ll do the first issue myself but once I start making some money, I’ll hire a second person. Then eventually a third person.
It’s too much work to do myself.
Right now, I’m working on the storyboard for the first issue. It will be slightly different from what you’re used to because it will be watercolor and ink, just like my Pop Art.
I’ll be in New York in September to debut it.
And no, I won’t be deleting all these articles. There’s too much good stuff. I’ll just move them somewhere else.
