Is it Constitutional?

People don’t get me. Which is sad.

I don’t think I can make things more simple. I believe in the Bill of Rights.

So of course, when I criticize someone on the left, leftists automatically assume I’m on the right. I’ll give conservatives more credit here because I can have an honest conversation about politics and they realize that I’m simply an “American.” I’m not one of them. And they tend to be fine with that.

Yes, American. That’s it.

I don’t belong to a political party. In fact, I almost always vote 3rd party because I can’t stand the big 2.

I don’t necessarily like Libertarians either because I’ve been to several of their meetings and even met one of their Presidential candidates. And they’re often very cold.

I’m warm.

So my politics is simple – leave me alone and I’ll leave you alone. The Bill of Rights pretty much says that. Free Speech. Freedom of Assembly. Freedom of Religion. Freedom to own whatever guns you want. Freedom from search and seizure. The Right to a jury. The Right to a fair trial.

The government long ago overstepped their powers. It’s way too big and they steal way too much of our money.

I don’t even like Social Security, something I can’t even have an honest conversation with most people. The government takes your money. Then gives it back when you’re old? Makes no sense. With all the money they take, I could have invested it and made a fortune.

“But other people aren’t as responsible as you.” Yeah, that’s my problem? So I’m the bad guy because I’m responsible? Go fuck yourself. Seriously. I hate people like that.

Charity by voluntary consent is a virtuous trait. Charity by government mandate is theft; pure and simple

My friend Neal gets this.

Most importantly though, way above money, is my Freedom. Neither party gets this. Neither party honors the Constitution. That’s why I pretty much don’t like anyone.

Now, I fully expect someone to read into this and make it more complicated than it has to be. I don’t know how to make this more simple.

Do you believe in Freedom? Or not?

It’s a binary question. You either do. Or you don’t.

“But with Freedom, people have to be responsible.”

Yeah. Then they need to grow up. Maybe that’s the root of the problem right there – you got all these losers who never grew up.

  1. I am happy to admit:

Many libertarians are a-hole ideologues that are more than capable of stepping on their own dicks. If they aren’t being super tards proving how smart they are to other people, they are rocking back and forth saying the same catch phrases over and over and over, then call it wisdom.
We also have our own hippies that are incapable of defending themselves and are fond of being our version of “pooswahs”.

    1. That’s the thing. I’d love to belong to the Libertarian party.

But dealing with them as people is another thing. I feel like I’m the only one in the room without severe autism.

  2. “Neither party honors the Constitution.” And there is the problem the USA has at hand. They come up with inane, public squabbles rather than honor the Constitution through actions.
