Advice to young people

A lot of people my age are losers. They complain to me that young folks don’t listen to them.

You know why? I wouldn’t listen to them either if I were young. I take one look at them and immediately think “I don’t want to be you when I grow up.”

I find young folks listen to me. A lot.

My main model before Allie though didn’t listen to me though. And now she’s a 250 pound SJW. Bummer for her as she got replaced several years ago by someone younger and cuter. Sucks to be her.

Anyways, this is the thing.

You have to look at life from two perspectives. And balance them accordingly.

You could die tomorrow. Or you could live to be 100+.

You don’t know what’s going to happen. So you have to have feet in both doors.

Yes, plan for the future as if you’re going to live to be 100. But don’t forget to live either as you may die in a car crash.

The older you get, the more deaths you’ll encounter. Sometimes someone you love will die of old age. Sometimes someone you love will die of something tragic, like cancer in her early 20s or murder in his late 20s. It happens and it’s often random.

Live like this and you’ll have a pretty good life.

I’m setup to have a decent lifestyle in my 90s. I’m currently studying cryptocurrency though because although I missed the beginnings, we’re still in its investment infancy. If it takes off like I’m betting it will, I’ll be filthy rich rather than just upper middle class.

So that’s it. Be both the person who plans for the future and the person who knows he or she could get hit by a bus tomorrow.

How you do this? Well, that’s for you to decide. Some folks are more conservative and some folks are more aggressive. You need to know what you can stomach.

Be healthy. Have relationships with only good people. Take control of your finances. And find something you’re passionate about and pursue it.
